Our Chickens are not bred to travel the “fast track” to be ready in 28 days as most of the commercially produced poultry are. They actually take more than twice as long as the famous Kentucky chickens.
In addition to rich taste, our slower-growing breeds have balanced growth of their organs, muscle, and bones. They’re hardy and can live outdoors, and because they come from a diverse genetic stock, their immunity is stronger. They live on our farm the way poultry has been cared for and raised for centuries.
